Stir Fried Thai Minced Beef a different way to cook minced beef to make it more interesting.  You can used minced pork or poultry for this dish too.  A great one pot meal.

IngredientsStir Fried Thai Minced Beef

1 lb lean minced beef
4 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
3 red chilis, seeded and sliced finely lengthwise
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 handful fresh basil
1 fresh lime, cut in quarters
2 tbsp peanut oil


Heat the peanut oil in a large wok or a deep large sauce pan for about 2 minutes.

Add in the minced garlic and stir until softened. Don’t over cook it or it will become bitter.

Add in the chilis and stir for about 2 minute.

Add the beef and break the meat apart with a wooden spoon while stirring. Stir well until the meat is evenly cooked.

Mix the soya sauce and fish sauce in a small dish and pour the sauce into the meat mixture. Stir for about 1 minute.

Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh basil and drizzle a little bit of lime juice.

Serve immediately with steamed rice.
