Steamed Orange Pudding



4 oz Self-raising flour          

4 oz fresh breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon salt

Rind of two medium oranges

2 Tablespoons sugar

4 oz suet

1 Egg beaten

1 Tablespoon milk


Mix together the flour, breadcrumbs, suet, sugar, salt and orange rind.

Add the egg and milk stirring all the time

Turn into a greased basin

Steam for 2 hours

Serve with cream or custard
