Steamed Haddock a healthy way to cook and eat fish.  Can be served with potatoes and vegetables of your choice, with rice or a salad. You can use other fish such as salmon or whiting.

IndredientsSteamed Haddock

1-2 lb  haddock skinned and boned

1 lemon sliced

tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Place each piece of fish separately onto pieces of tinfoil large enough to make into a loose parcel

Season the fish and places slices of lemon across the top and then sprinkle with the parsley

Secure the parcels so that there is enough room for the steam to rise but secure the edges to retain the liquid

Place in the oven for about 30 minutes depending of the thickness of the fillets for thinner fillets cook for just 20 minutes.

Remove from the foil carefully as the steam will be very hot and serve.
