Pan Fried Trout ready in about 3 minutes and can be served with a number of sauces or salsas *(see suggestions and recipes) with a fresh green salad or rice or couscous.

Ingredients

Pan Fried Trout

6 (6-oz.) trout fillets
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4 tablespoons olive oil

 

Method

Sprinkle fillets with salt and pepper.

Fry 3 fillets in 2 Tbsp. hot oil in a large nonstick frying pan over medium high heat for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until the fish can be flaked with a fork

Repeat the process with remaining fillets .

Serve with one of the following or your own choice of sauce or salsa and New Potatoes (Jerseys are good)

Roasted Tomato Sauce   

Cucumber Salsa

Almond Salsa Verdi

Guacamole
