Indian Egg Toast add a a twist to egg on toast with this spicy Gypsy toast recipe.  Serve it for breakfast or lunch or as a tasty supper dish.


2 eggsIndian Egg Toast
2-3 slices of Bread
1/2 onion (finely chopped)
1/2 tomato (finely chopped)
1-2 green chilies (finely chopped)
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt To Taste
1 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp red chili powder or to taste
Oil to fry


Beat together the eggs and then add the milk, chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander, salt & chili powder.

Beat the mixture well until it becomes foamy

Heat a little oil in a frying pan

Dip a slice of the bread in the egg mixture coating it evenly then fry it gently on both sides

Repeat with the other slices of bread and serve hot with ketchup or chutney
