Hot Bananas in Coconut Milk quick and easy and light Chinese Dessert.  This recipe serves two but it is easy to make the dessert for larger numbers by increasing the ingredients.

IngredientsHot Bananas in Coconut Milk

2 large bananas
1 cup coconut milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon


Peel the bananas and cut them into bite size pieces

Bring the coconut milk to the boil in a medium sized saucepan

Add the sugar and cinamon and let it dissolve

Add the bananas and bring back to the boil and let simmer for 3 – 5 minutes, until the bananas are tender but not falling apart

Serve in bowls hot and sprinkled with a little more cinamon
