French Dressing (basic)

When this dressing is first made it should be poured over the salad at once but t can be bottled and used later but remember to shake the bottle before use.


1 tbsp prepared mustard

8 fl oz (230) ml olive oil

2 fl oz (60ml) vinegar

¼ tsp caster sugar

Sal and Pepper


Place the mustard in a small bowl.

Whisk in the olive oil

Add the vinegar bit by bit whisking vigorously all the time

Salt and pepper to taste
