Chocolate Icing to top cakes and cupcakes this is easy to make recipe with items you will probably have  in your store cupboard.  You cans prinkle the icing with hundreds and thousands or dessicated coconut before it sets.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups of icing sugarChocolate Icing
1/4 cup of cocoa (not hot chocolate powder)
25 grams of butter

Method

Sieve the cocoa and icing sugar into a bowl.
Chop the butter into small pieces and add to the bowl.
Add one tablespoon of  hot water and mix all the ingredients until they form a smooth, glossy paste.

 

Try using this icing a few Butter Shortbread Biscuits as a special treat
